Vote for Construction Youth Trust to win Aviva Community Fund funding

We are very excited to announce that Construction Youth Trust has been shortlisted for the Aviva Community Fund for our ‘Better Bettws’ project. Each shortlisted project can receive ‘votes’ on the website. In June judges will decide which projects get the funding but the amount of votes a project gets will be taken into consideration. Please show your support for the project and vote for it on the Aviva Community Fund website. There is a short registration process and you will receive 10 votes to use. You can find the project here:

The project will engage young people to make their community a better place to live while they learn practical construction skills, gain qualifications and access employment opportunities. Our vision for the area is to engage local people and especially young people to create a spectacular garden based on the Mabinogion story of Culhwch & Olwen, who leave footprints of flowers. We will create footprints of flowers, landscape sculptures and other amenities. A treasure trail will be set up for the community so that people taking part in the project feel ownership over it and enjoy its celebration of Wales.
