Fundraising
Fundraising allows us to continue doing what we do - and it can be a lot of fun!
We welcome industry partners, individuals and other supporters to fundraise in aid of our work – and there are some great ideas out there, from golf days to sponsored runs. These can also raise awareness and be highly effective at teambuilding – giving staff a shared sense of purpose. Whether you want to organise your own event, or register with a third party, we can help with ideas.
Organising your own fundraising event can be a great way to motivate staff, suppliers and clients. Maybe you already have an annual event that would lend itself to fundraising? Or maybe you want to organise a specific activity to aid in teambuilding or bringing your clients together. We can help with ideas.
Before you start any planning, please read our Terms & Conditions. These are designed to ensure any fundraising is aligned to our charitable status, so proceeding with any fundraising activity in aid of CYT is deemed acceptance of these. We have developed a set of FAQs to help explain how these terms work in practice.
We also support certain challenge events organised by third-party event organisers.
We’re excited to have four charity places for the TCS London Marathon for the next four years! For more information on how to support our 2026 runners or how to apply for a place to run yourself in 2027, please visit our London Marathon page.
We’re also offering a number of places to take part in challenge events over the coming months. So if you’re up for a challenge, or you’re looking for a challenge to enter as a team, you’ll have lots of options on our Challenge events page.
Please note that any individual who accepts a CYT challenge event place agrees to comply with our challenge event specific Terms & Conditions – see here.
We would be delighted to discuss your ideas and support you with your fundraising event, so please do get in touch with our fundraising team at: partnerships@constructionyouth.org.uk.
Any fundraising activity supports our general charitable work and your support is hugely appreciated, thank you.
