Construction Youth Trust Intern Positions – Data & IT, Schools & Programme Delivery and Marketing & Communications.


Salary: London Living Wage

Location: London and North Kent. You will be based at our London office in Bermondsey but will be expected to travel across London boroughs and North Kent, role dependant. 

Initial 6-month fixed term contract with possibility for extension. Full-Time, Part-Time and Term-Time working will be considered.

Construction Youth Trust is a forward-thinking charity whose mission is to help young people reach their full potential and take their first steps towards a rewarding working life. We prepare young people for the world of work, support them to build their skills and confidence and connect them with opportunities and employers aligned with their abilities and interests. We prioritise supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, under-represented groups and those facing significant barriers.

Due to an increase of need and demand, we are seeking to expand our committed team. Our interns play a key role within Construction Youth Trust, supporting the charity across many different departments and offers a great opportunity for a young person who wants to take their first step into the workplace via the youth/charity sector.

Whilst we are initially offering a 6-month fixed term contract, we are committed to supporting the development of our interns and are very pleased that many of our previous interns have progressed into other roles within Construction Youth Trust.

Intern opportunities include:

Schools & Programme Delivery Intern - to support the delivery and development of effective programmes of activities for young people.
Data & IT Intern - to support the implementation of the Trust’s Data & IT plans.
Marketing & Communications Intern – to support the creation of engaging and vibrant communications to stakeholders, including young people, to best celebrate the Trust’s work.
