Our ambassadors from our 2013 awards tell us about their aspirations, achievements in construction and why they believe in the awards in this fantastic film made by sponsor KPMG.
The Duke of Gloucester's Young Achievers Scheme is an opportunity for exceptional young professionals in the construction industry to be commended and celebrated for their achievements.
The scheme promotes the construction industry to young people of all social backgrounds with the aim of increasing the number and diversity of entrants into the sector.
The finalists are judged by a prestigious panel of experts through a rigorous process of presentations and interviews. The judges look for young people who have not only achieved excellence in their careers so far, but who have had to overcome barriers and challenges or social disadvantage to get to where they are.
The winners will receive cash prizes and a unique development opportunity through the Trust with a one year mentoring programme to enable them to make an even great impact in the years to come.
The Awards are open for anyone under the age of 30 working in the construction industry, from across the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
