Benefits of Working with Us

Find out more about we can help you to:

  • Win work
  • Reduce costs
  • Improve productivity

Donate

Construction Youth Trust receives annual donations from its corporate partners. Our portfolio of corporate donors typically commit to an annual donation on a three year term. These donations enable the Trust to train and support young people who would otherwise find it very difficult to find work in the industry.

Corporate donors become part of our circle of support. We take these relationships very seriously and work to ensure that a relationship with the Trust is of reciprocal benefit. Donors are:

  • Invited to breakfast briefings, evening receptions, and seminars: an opportunity to network with senior figures from industry, gain exposure, meet potential clients
  • Recipients of mutually beneficial marketing and communications agreements, including logos and marketing collateral for your website
  • Able to demonstrate a long-term commitment to helping young people in the UK nurture their talents in order to enter the industry

Commission

Construction Youth Trust delivers training on behalf of industry in order to meet community engagement and local labour targets. Training is accredited by the Open College Network and we develop bespoke curriculums to meet the needs of our clients.

Pre-apprenticeship training: An end –to-end programme to ensure you get the right person for the job: outreach; sift and screen; vocational and employability training; Literacy and Numeracy development; Drugs & Alcohol testing; managed interviews and work experience placements; ongoing mentoring.

Companies benefit from a fully managed recruitment process which encourages greater diversity.

‘Live’ projects: Young, unemployed people improve their local community whilst learning practical skills and developing their work ethic. Previous projects include building pathways and benches, refurbishing voids, sheltered housing, or community centres.

Companies gain positive PR from these ‘win-win’ projects which help young people improve their skills whilst improving their local community.

See our Pathways to Success programme for a recent case study

Budding Brunels: A three-day workshop for Year 12 students to understand professional careers in construction. Bright young people are encouraged to pursue opportunities through university, HNCs, and higher-level apprenticeships.

Companies benefit from access to potential talent, demonstrating their commitment to raising aspirations in disadvantaged communities.
