Schools & Programme Intern - London

Salary: London Living Wage

Duration: 1 Year Fixed-term

Location: Our office is based in Bermondsey. Regular travel within London is a feature of this role with the potential of occasional travel further afield.

This role is a great opportunity for a young person (College or Sixth Form leaver) who wants to take their first step into the workplace via the youth/charity sector. The overall objective of the Intern is to support the existing West London team, giving the Trust additional resource to expand into more schools in three boroughs, and support more young people on their journey to a successful working life. The key responsibilities will include:

  • Support the delivery and development of an effective programme of activities for young people.
  • Support the development of effective long-term working relationships with schools.
  • Support the team to enlist, manage and coordinate support of local industry partners.
  • Provide administrative support to team to support the registration, monitoring and evaluation of young people who take part in our programmes and activities.
  • Support the local schools partnership cluster.

This position is funded by the Jack Petchey Foundation, as part of their internship programme, which supports young talent and youth charities.

Salary: £23,000 to £28,000 p.a. pro rata, dependent upon experience and based on full time week of 37.5 hours.
