Particularly focusing on changing the misconception that construction careers are aimed only at men, the #notjustforboys campaign aims to get young people talking about which careers are best for them. Through this we are hoping more young women will start to look at the hundreds of career options the construction industry has to offer too.

It’s been well known in the industry for many years that we are facing a skills shortage caused by an aging construction workforce. In a post-Brexit Britain it’s vital that the industry plans for the future and secures the talent and skills needed, by ensuring the next generation is supported to consider and pursue STEM careers - and this needs to include women.
