However, we are determined that the current Covid-19 crisis will not affect the quality of support we provide to our young people. Our focus has been on developing strategies for e-learning and online resources that will enable us to continue to work with the young people enrolled on our programmes.
Through our long-term mentoring programmes we offer bespoke 1-2-1 support and guidance to our young people. By taking a more personalised approach these programmes ensure that we can give young people advice that is specifically tailored to their individual skills and interests, empowering them to build on their unique strengths.
Our 1-2-1 online sessions currently include apprenticeship applications, cover letters, interview skills and mock interviews. All our sessions continue to be employer-led, with industry volunteers engaging virtually to make sure that our young people are still able to benefit from the invaluable advice and support of industry professionals.
Moving our sessions online will ensure that we are able to continue to provide sustained support to the young people enrolled on our programmes, and continue the momentum we have built with them so far.
We look forward to continuing to discover new, innovative ways to support our young people to achieve their career goals.
