Industry call to arms in loving memory of Maddie Durdant-Hollamby

In celebration of the life and work of Maddie Durdant-Hollamby, family, friends and wider industry came together to support a fund through Construction Youth Trust set up in Maddie’s memory.

It was with great sadness to hear that on the 27th August the life of Maddie Durdant-Hollamby was cut short in tragic circumstances. Maddie worked within industry and was advancing strongly in her marketing role with Keyline Civils. Most recently she was appointed Project Director of Visibility on the Travis Perkins Youth Board. Maddie’s passion and dedication shone through and she is an inspiration to all young people in the industry or looking to join the sector.

‘Maddie really enjoyed working in the Construction Industry and would always speak highly of it to all her friends. She loved her Marketing role with The Travis Perkins Group and the many opportunities her role was giving her for her future. I just know that any help that her career story can give to giving more youngsters a chance in our industry would just put that beautiful smile back on her for us all to enjoy.’ Maddie’s father, Steve Durdant-Hollamby

On the 22nd of September Maddie’s family, friends and wider industry came together to celebrate Maddie’s life and raise awareness for a fund that’s been set up in her memory through the Trust. Overwhelming support flooded social media and an incredible £30,800 has already been raised.
