22nd Christmas Concert brings festive fundraising success!

The Trust is very pleased to have recently raised over £8000 through an auction and raffle at its 22nd Annual Christmas Concert at Carpenters’ Hall in London.

Over 160 guests enjoyed an evening of festive entertainment from the Royal College of Music Junior Department and a three course meal by candlelight.

The 16 piece choir performed songs by Gabrieli, Chilcott and Thomas Hewitt Jones, and ended their performance by inviting guests to all stand and sing We Three Kings.

Andy Wates, newly appointed Chairman of Trustees, spoke about our achievements of the last year and recognised Executive Director Christine Townley’s ten successful years at the Trust.

After a three course meal and performances throughout the dinner from the RCM, guests had the opportunity to take part in our much anticipated raffle and auction with prizes including a box at Ascot, a box at the O2 to see Michael McIntyre, Tea for Two at the Ritz, £200 voucher for SUSHISAMBA, and ‘The Shard’ print by artist Jennie Ing.

We would like to thank this year’s principal sponsor of the Concert OCN London, along with supporters Willmott Dixon, BSRIA, and supporters of the event BAM, CSCS, Network Rail, Urbanis, and The Sash Window Workshop.  We would also like to thank CIC, First Great Western, Ripleys Believe it or Not, Sir Robert McAlpine, SUSHISAMBA, Wates, and Young Builders Trust for donating prizes for the raffle and auction.
