When: Sunday 27th September 2015
Where: The Heron Tower, 110 Bishopsgate, London, EC2N 4AY
On 27th September 2015 teams of four raced against the clock and each other to climb the Heron Tower, one of London's most iconic buildings, to raise money for Construction Youth Trust.
The Skyline Challenge is organised by Construction Youth Trust to raise funds to help vulnerable young people build brighter futures.
During the event participants, in teams of 4, run up 37 floors of the Heron Tower using a panoramic staircase. The Heron Tower stands at 755ft tall, the tallest building in the City of London, and will provide a real challenge even for the most experienced of climbers! Great panoramic views and an after-event celebration with refreshments are definitely worth the climb.
In 2014 the Challenge raised over £12,000 for the Trust and this year we want to go even further! Fundriasing for this year's challenge ends on October 31st!
"We were delighted to sponsor the inaugural SUSHISAMBA Skyline Challenge. Climbing the 37 stories was certainly a very challenging experience but every one of the steps was worth the pain knowing that the money raised was in support of Construction Youth Trust.
My legs were aching, my lungs burning, my head telling me that this was a crazy thing to be doing at my age, but what a great feeling of achievement and what a reception we received when we reached the top."
