Working with students from London Southbank University

Budding Brunels Students

The Budding Brunels programme has grown enormously in the last year and Construction Youth Trust understands the need to meet the ever-changing nature of the construction industry and reflect this in our programmes. As part of a new curriculum for the programme we are hoping to include Building Information Modelling (BIM) in order for students to understand the importance of technology in the built environment and to keep the course engaging and innovative for students.

To this end, Ivan Mills from London South Bank University has kindly been working with us to develop some initial ideas on how to incorporate BIM into our curriculum.

In an interesting turn of fate, it just happens that Ivan is actually an ex-student of a past Construction Youth Trust programme called Capital Xperience, and achieved an internship to work with Kier Islington as a surveyor at the end of the course.

I've had the opportunity to experience the benefits that these programmes hold,  so... I am looking forward to working with you and developing this new BIM programme. - Ivan Mills

We are very excited to be working closely with LSBU students in order to continue to improve and progress the courses offered to our students.
