Finalists announced for the Construction Industry’s Young Achiever’s Scheme

The finalists have been announced for our second prestigious awards dinner for The Duke of Gloucester’s Young Achievers Scheme 2013.

Now in its second year, the Scheme, with the support of the Trust’s Patron, HRH The Duke of Gloucester, is an opportunity for exceptional young professionals to be commended and celebrated for their achievements. It particularly looks for young people who have overcome barriers or certain hardships in their life, and judges read applications from young people who had shown exceptional resilience and determination.

The shortlisted candidates will now take part in a rigorous judging process, presenting to key industry executives in early February, and will attend the awards evening where the winners will be announced.

Winners will each receive a unique package of support through the Trust and development opportunities through a one year mentoring programme to enable them to make an even greater impact in their future careers. There will be an additional prize of an iPad for the overall winner.

This exciting event will include a reception, awards presentation and three course dinner on the evening of the 13th March 2013 at RIBA, London.

The Awards are being sponsored this year by Byrne Group, ConstructionSkills, Aecom, John Rowan and Partners, KPMG, Construction Industry Council and The Association of Consultant Architects.
