Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you for giving your time to support our industry volunteering programme. Introducing young people to inspirational role models from the world-of-work is highly effective in generating that first spark of interest that can make all the difference to their futures. We can’t thank you enough.
As the industry’s own youth charity, we rely entirely on charitable funds to do what we do. If you’ve seen value in our work, you can find out here how you or your company can further support us. Alternatively, put us in touch with the person who looks after your company’s charitable giving. We’d love to hear from you at partnerships@constructionyouth.org.uk.
Simply click on the relevant hub image to access an individual Google spreadsheet detailing all upcoming volunteering opportunities in that area, making it easy for you to apply as well as share and send to relevant colleagues!
If you would like to support one of our sessions or activities, please send an email to the Trust member listed as the point of contact at the top of the hub
spreadsheet. If you have any queries about a session, please ask the Construction Youth Trust session lead.
To find out more about the sessions and volunteer roles, please take a look at the information at the bottom of this page

Our young people
In our school sessions, we work with students from 11 – 18 years old as well as working in colleges.
KS3: Years 7-9, 11-14 years old
KS4: Years 10 & 11, 14-16 years old
KS5: Years 12 & 13/College/6th Form, 16-18 years old
For our community programmes we work with young people 16 – 30 years old. Typically these projects prioritise working with those young people hardly reached and those not in education, employment or further training (NEET).
Our sessions
Volunteers will be sent a full volunteer brief and instructions before each session.
For our online and remote sessions, volunteers will engage with young people either via Zoom webinars or Google Meet, mediated by Trust staff.
