Mentoring with Construction Youth Trust is an energising and rewarding experience I wholeheartedly recommend! The enthusiasm from Neil is infectious such that I go back to the office smiling.
I wish I could have had a mentor when I was studying architecture as we often find it difficult to pinpoint our ambitions and know how to make our ambitions reality - and whilst mentors don't always have the answer, mentoring can help us set goals and look in the right places to find what we want.
I hope the Trust can do more great work for architecture students as well as other construction professionals - and in turn, I hope more architects become mentors!
