Young people need opportunities to experience professional and technical roles in construction in order to excite them about the industry. We will be working on a summer programme to provide internships for students aged 16-18 in east London in construction. The programme will be led by Newham FE College Centre for Innovation and Partnerships, and funded by the London Development Agency, running from summer 2007 until summer 2009.
