How you can get involved - interested in a career in construction?

Our projects cater for 14 - 30 year old people and the majority of our projects are run through the participation of schools, colleges or community centres.


If you are interested in a career in construction there are a number of different ways you can find out more.

  • Speak to a teacher or careers advisor and get advice on becoming part of one of the most exciting industries in the country. Discover the opportunities, and the landmark projects, that you could be part of. - Comprehensive list of construction jobs

  • Visit the ConstructionSkills website to find out about apprenticeships in the construction industry.

"Construction is the UK's biggest industry, with 2 million people already at work in more than 700 different types of jobs such as accountant, bricklayer, civil engineer, lawyer. There's always a demand for new people to join the construction industry. Once working in the industry there are many opportunities to develop skills and abilities throughout your career."

The Trust offers limited financial support for individuals who are studying for construction related qualifications at university or craft level. A typical grant will be in the region of £500 - £1,000. Find out more about our bursary scheme.
