Christine Townley - Director
Christine joined the Construction Youth Trust in 2004 with a focus on partnership development; in November 2007 she was appointed the Trust's Director and has been instrumental in the significant development of the Trust.
Christine is a chartered civil engineer. She qualified in 1976 and has worked on the design and construction of dams, reservoirs and floodwalls for the UK and Middle East. In 1987 Christine moved into adult and community education working for Thurrock Adult Community College and the Basic Skills Agency before joining the Trust.
Lisa Marie Brown (Nelmes)
Lisa Nelmes joined the Construction Youth Trust in November 2007 as the Wales Co-ordinator. Lisa works for the Trust in South Wales developing key projects such as the mobile classroom, building community benches, flower beds, renovating community rooms and the "Pink Ladies initiative.
Lisa has a keen interest in developing services for young people. Before joining the Trust, Lisa worked as a project manager renovating a youth information shop.
Lisa is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and has a BSc hons in Sociology and Business. She is currently a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and the Women's Engineering Society.
Kevin Butler
Kevin Butler joined the Construction Youth Trust in July 2008 as a trainer for Neath/Port Talbot, Rhondda Cynon Taff area. Kevin is from a building background. His family ran a building firm in South Wales. He has worked in the construction industry for many years and is multi-skilled in all aspects of construction.
Kevin works on delivering two-hour taster sessions in all aspects of construction to young people throughout South Wales and has recently started mentoring young people for employment by engaging with them on employability training days.
Beryll Camplin
After a career in publishing and marketing, Beryll joined the Trust in 2004 as their Administrator. Over the last five years she has performed a variety of roles including communications, events management, fundraising and general administration. She now focuses on managing the individual bursary programme, organising the Trust committees and looking after the HR in our growing organisation.
Beryll has a BA in Sociology and an IDM Diploma in Direct Marketing.
Kerry Dickson
Kerry joined the Trust in December 2007 and works in the London Office as Central Services Manager.
She has a BA (Hon) in International Business & Modern Languages from the University of Strathclyde.
Diana Gardiner
Diana joined the Trust in July 2009 and works in the London Office as the Director's Executive Assistant. She also offers administrative and project support to our core and regional teams.
Diana moved to the United Kingdom in 2009 from her native New Zealand where she had previously been working in a promotional and ambassadorial role within a local government agency. In 2008, Diana completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, History and Film and Media studies from the University of Otago, New Zealand.
She is avid sports fan and likes to spend her free time travelling and supporting her nation's sporting teams.
Beverley Greaves
Beverley Greaves joined the Construction Youth Trust in July 2007 and works as the co-ordinator managing the Trust's "Toolkit for life project.
Corrine Harms
Corrine joined the Trust in August 2010 as the London Regional Co-ordinator
Victoria McDowell
Victoria joined the trust in June 2010 and is responsible for delivering, managing, coordinating and monitoring the Trust's activities in the North West. These activities include work with the Youth Justice Board, Budding Brunels, generating and developing fruitful partnerships for the trust and monitoring the trusts activities through a 'Social Return on Investment' model.
After a BA in Politics Victoria worked for the Financial Ombudsman Service before commencing my MA (econs.) in Political Science at the University of Manchester. She then secured a position working in the social housing sector and have just completed my PGDip in Housing Practice and is now a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
In her spare time she enjoys watching and playing numerous sports, travelling, cooking, DIY and keeping up to date with current affairs.
Michael Reynolds
Michael joined the Construction Youth Trust in September 2009 as a Trainer for Newport/Cardiff and surrounding areas.
Michael has worked in construction for 31 years. He served his apprenticeship as a carpenter and joiner later becoming a working foreman. For the last seven years Michael worked for a large shopfitting company based in Rogerstone, Newport, South Wales as Workshop Joinery Manager following promotion from Joinery Supervisor.
Michael is well equipped for his current role training young people as he has spent most of his construction career working with young people and apprentices.
