Our programmes are designed to
excite young people about the construction industry and help
them to overcome barriers to gain training and employment. Current
project include:
Community
Engagement
Working with companies across
the sector, the Trust delivers a range of community engagement
activity to encourage young people to consider careers in the
sector and to help teachers, careers advisors and lecturers
to better understand the opportunities available.
Mobile
Construction Classrooms
These innovative mobile facilities, an idea conceived by Surrey
EBP, are a unique way to introduce young people both at school
and in the community to construction skills and career opportunities.
Toolkit
for Life
Funded by the Nationwide Foundation, this exciting project seeks
to provide supported work placements and employability training
to young offenders in the West Midlands.
Capital
Xperience
Young people from the five Olympic boroughs in East London will
undertake paid summer work placements to learn about construction
on this exciting programme funded by the London Development
Agency.
ConstructionSkills
As part of the Trust's partnership with ConstructionSkills,
we work to deliver Programme-Led Apprenticeships and to help
adult entrants.
